About Lynne

After a degree from UW Stout I taught Home Economics for over 25 years.  These last 6 years I have been the costume director for many of the Kettle Moraine School District musicals.  Quilting has been a passion of mine for my entire adult life.

My inspiration for Textured Treasures started more than 20 years ago when I made a blanket for my autistic niece, with patches of different textures. The varying surfaces helped calm her, and the visual and tactile stimulation reduced her anxiety.
